One of my roles as Veterans Ombudsman is to provide information to the Veterans’ community. Our website is one of the ways that I communicate with Veterans, their families, and the public to provide information and updates on issues of importance and the work my team and I are doing on their behalf. In addition to my social media posts, my blogs, news releases, reports and speeches are published regularly with the intent of sharing evidence-based observations and recommendations for improvements. I also share information about my outreach and the day-to-day operations of the Office.

AND HEARING LOSS,VERTIGO WHICH RESTRICTS MY MOVEMENT AS I ALWAYS WALK LIKE I HAVE BEEN DRINKING AND FEEL THAT PEOPLE ARE LOOKING AT ME THAT WAY.I ALSO HAVE DIABETES 2.MY QUESTION IS THAT MY PENSION REFERS TO MY RESERVE FORCE NUMBER H819500 AND I JOINED THE ARMY IN 1949 IN WINNIPEG AND MY SERCICE NUMBER IS SH 61672.MY FRONT LINE TIME IN KOREA WAS ,THE HOOK,SAMICHON,CHORWAN,HILL 159 AND THE HILL 355 OCT 23 BEING THE WORSE TIME,I DO AT TIME REMEMBER WHEN WE WERE TO PULL OUT OF THE FRONT LINE AND ALL THE TROUBLE WE HAD TO DIG THE TANK OUT BEFORE FIRST LIGHT AND WERE NOT ABLE TO DO THAT FOR THE BRITS TO MOVE IN WITH THERE TANK I HEARD THE LOST TWO ME AT THAT TIME.I CAN NOT RECALL ALL THE DETAILS ALSO CAN NOT REMEMBER HOW I GOT BACK TO JAPAN THAT PART IS A COMPLETE BLANK TO ME ME,AROUND 1972 I TRIED SUCIDE BUT FAILED ON THAT,I WENT INTO THE RESERVE FORCES TO TRY TO OCCUPY MY MIND BUT THAT WAS VERY HARD,I DONT KNOW HOW I MANAGED THAT PART OF MY LIFE WITH OUT VALIUM.THE SHRINK I WENT TO AT THAT TIME SEEMED TO HAVE NO ANSWERS AND AS INEVER HEARD OF P,T,S,D AS ALSO ME.I AM 84 YEARS OF AGE AND DO NOT FEAR DEATH NOW AS I DID IN KOREA.ON MY STORY ON THE INTERNET I HOLD BACK A LOT AND DO NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT THAT,IN KOREA I TURNED DOWN ANT R,R LEAVES TO ASK TO GO BACK TO THE FRONT LINES IN ORDER TO BEAT MY FEAR AND DO THAT JOB AS A SOLDIER.MY QUESTION REMAINS WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SERVICE NUMBER SH 61672.THANK YOU FROM AN OLD BURNED OUT VETERAN.

At first I was going to fill it out, then having been scammed before I sent a copy to Don Davies my MP, asking if he thought it wise. He replied he thought it a scam. I thought it possibly an election gimmick. If you think it wise perhaps your office can issue a warning, after all most on pension income can use extra money.The group is called Canadian Disability Benefits emblem a red maple lief with the disabled wheelchair in i in white.

Applying for Veterans' disability benefits should be done directly through Veterans Affairs Canada, and they would not require you to provide your personal information through an online form.
