He will also speak about the work his Office is doing to help Veterans and discuss his priorities for addressing the gaps in the benefits and services that are provided to Veterans and their families.
All the information gathered during these visits will help the Veterans Ombudsman make evidence-based recommendations to ensure Veterans have access to the benefits and services delivered by Veterans Affairs Canada.
“I am looking forward to visiting Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, a city comprised of many serving members and Veterans and their families. Their concerns are my concerns as Veterans Ombudsman, and by reaching out to and meeting as many members as I can, I get to hear the real issues and make recommendations on how to address them.”
