What was the most rewarding aspect of the work that you have done to date on behalf of Veterans?
Roméo Dallaire: First time a sergeant stopped me in the street here in Ottawa,
when I had gone public,
and told me that this had permitted him to be able to talk about his injury.
That, I think, was the crowning point. Everything else has just continued from that moment,
and that just hit me like a ton of bricks as being worth it.
One, just one to say it, was enough to keep me going.
