Veterans Ombudsman to Hold Public Meeting with Veterans in Greenwood, Nova Scotia

Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, Guy Parent, has rescheduled his town hall in Greenwood, Nova Scotia, after having to cancel the session in February due to bad weather. All Veterans, RCMP members, military members, their families and other interested parties are encouraged to meet the Veterans Ombudsman on the rescheduled date below. These meetings are an opportunity for the Veterans Ombudsman to meet with Veterans and their families and hear about the issues that concern them. Mr. Parent will also talk about what his Office is doing on their behalf and provide an update on issues of concern to the Veterans’ community. The Ombudsman will deliver a short presentation, followed by a question and answer period with the audience. Representatives from the Office will also be available at the town hall to meet individually with Veterans who wish to discuss the particulars of their case.
