Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, Guy Parent, has regretfully cancelled his town hall session in Greenwood, Nova Scotia due to bad weather. After advisories from CFB Greenwood of bad weather continuing throughout the evening, the town hall was cancelled in the interest of safety for all those planning to attend.
There are currently no plans to reschedule the Greenwood town hall for the near future. An advisory will be made should the town hall be rescheduled for a later date.
All Veterans, RCMP members, military members, their families and other interested parties are encouraged to contact the Office of the Veterans Ombudsman to speak to representatives directly about their cases.
