Veterans Ombudsman to Hold Public Meeting with Veterans in the Regional Municipality of Halifax

Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, Guy Parent, will travel to the Regional Municipality of Halifax to host a public town hall session for Veterans,  RCMP  members, military members, families and other interested parties. Mr. Parent will deliver a short presentation outlining the mandate and services of the Office of the Veterans Ombudsman. This will be followed by a question and answer period with the audience.

November 16, 2020– Ottawa, ON – Deputy Veterans Ombudsman Sharon Squire will present the 2020 Veterans Ombudsman Commendation to recipients at a virtual ceremony on November 18, 2020. The Commendation recognizes exceptional dedication, hard-work and selfless motivation to Canada's Veterans and their families.
