Staff Sergeant Stephen Walker (retired) served 31 years in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Throughout his career, he served in the Province of Manitoba as a police officer in rural and Indigenous communities throughout his career. He was posted to Detachments, Major Crime, Organized Crime units and was a Staff Relations Representative for the RCMP in Manitoba. He has also served on various Committees and Boards of Directors during and since his service with the RCMP
Upon retirement Stephen served as a Director, President and Past President with the National RCMP Veterans Association. He currently serves the Veteran Association as a representative on the Pension Advisory Committee, Pension Finance Oversight Committee, and Insurance Advisory Committee for the RCMP. He is also involved in Advocacy for the RCMP Veterans.
Stephen attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador prior to becoming a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He and his family reside in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
