The healthcare and rehabilitation professionals who will be supporting the individual during transition have been identified in the area where the veteran is planning to live once medically released and their respective responsibilities have been defined. VAC Update (May 14, 2015) - In progress, through its third party health services contractor, VAC is ensuring that key rehabilitation professionals, including physiotherapists and occupational therapists are there to help our Veterans. In addition, once VAC has authority to adjudicate NVC programs pre-release, releasing members approved for VAC's rehabilitation program will have the health care and rehabilitation professionals identified to ensure their seamless transition from military to civilian life. |
