Veterans Ombudsman to Hold Public Meeting with Veterans in Greenwood, Nova Scotia

Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, Guy Parent, has rescheduled his town hall in Greenwood, Nova Scotia, after having to cancel the session in February due to bad weather. All Veterans, RCMP members, military members, their families and other interested parties are encouraged to meet the Veterans Ombudsman on the rescheduled date below. These meetings are an opportunity for the Veterans Ombudsman to meet with Veterans and their families and hear about the issues that concern them. Mr.

Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, Guy Parent, will host public a town hall in Barrie, Ontario for Veterans, military and RCMP members, and other interested parties. Town halls are an opportunity for the Veterans Ombudsman to meet with Veterans, talk about what the Office is doing on their behalf and answer questions about the Office and about issues of importance to the Veterans’ community. Mr. Parent will deliver a short presentation followed by a question and answer period.

Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, Guy Parent, will host public town halls in Quebec City and Chicoutimi, Quebec for Veterans, military and RCMP members, and other interested parties. These meetings are an opportunity for the Veterans Ombudsman to meet with Veterans, talk about what the Office is doing on their behalf and answer questions about the Office and about issues of importance to the Veterans’ community. URGENT - Veterans Ombudsman’s Town Hall in Greenwood Cancelled due to bad weather

Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, Guy Parent, has regretfully cancelled his town hall session in Greenwood, Nova Scotia due to bad weather. After advisories from CFB Greenwood of bad weather continuing throughout the evening, the town hall was cancelled in the interest of safety for all those planning to attend.

There are currently no plans to reschedule the Greenwood town hall for the near future. An advisory will be made should the town hall be rescheduled for a later date.
